Katy Perry and Russell Brand 'Making Up' Wedding Stories

Katy Perry and Russell Brand have been "making up stories" about their upcoming wedding because the "crazy" rumors help keep the real details secret.

The pop star will exchange vows with the British comic later this year and speculation about the ceremony has been rife ever since they announced their engagement.

The couple is said to be planning an exotic destination for their nuptials, with many online gossips suggesting they will tie the knot in India, where Brand proposed on New Year's Eve. But Perry admits they have both been making up "stories" about their wedding.

She tells Britain's Star magazine, "Russell makes up these really crazy stories about me and our wedding. I make up stories, too - I said he was a 'groomzilla'. He said I farted a lot, but I've never farted in front of him - honestly! I hear these crazy stories - we are going to get married in latex, underwear, in Spandex, in Japan, in India, in Thailand. But I think all this craziness about my marriage is really funny."

"And I don't set the record straight as I love this chaotic circus of wrong information, because it is not really anyone else's business beside the people that we have invited and us, of course."

Katy Perry Top Maxim's Hot 100 List

Katy Perry may be an award-winning singer, but the recently engaged songstress now has more bragging rights. Perry has just topped Maxim magazine’s annual Hot 100 list.

Maxim editor-in-chief Joe Levy tells Us Weekly that Perry was their top choice because she’s "a triple -- no, quadruple -- kind of hot. It's that feeling you get when you unexpectedly realize that the smartest, funniest, coolest girl you know also happens to the best looking and a pretty good skateboarder, too. All of sudden, your crush goes supernova, and this is Katy’s supernova moment."

We know this girl can light up a red carpet (literally -- just look at her dress at the MET Gala) but Miss “I Kissed a Girl” beat out some of the Hollywood’s hottest ladies, including this year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover model, Brooklyn Decker (No. 2), Zoe Saldana (No. 3), Blake Lively (No. 4), and Megan Fox, who slipped from second to fifth place.

Don’t feel bad, Fox. Last year's it girl, Olivia Wilde, didn't even crack the top ten this year. Wilde placed a measly 20th, but at least she beat out Angelina "Pillow-lips" Jolie, who landed in the 38th position.

Sadly, despite Jennifer Aniston's red-hot carpet attire this year, she didn't even make the list.
