Shah Rukh Khan wants to apologize to Salman Khan

Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar have been thick friends for a long time now. And so it's no wonder that when the latter invited King Khan on his chat show, he got him talking on issues that nobody could till date.

Though Shah Rukh has always been asked about his spat with Salman, he has never candidly spoken about the same. But when KJo put forth the same question, SRK couldn't hold himself back and got into a confessing mode.

On chat show 'Koffee With Karan' that will be aired on January 2, 2011, Shah Rukh reportedly spoke freely about Salman. Sources have it that Khan confessed on the show that, "If Salman is upset with me it's 100 per cent my fault."

SRK also admitted that there hasn't been reconciliation as yet as he finds it difficult to pick up the phone and say sorry. Bollywood's Badshaah attributed this weakness to his ego and said that he just can't bring himself up to asking people to get back to him.

Sources from the sets reveal that Shah Rukh got very emotional while talking about Salman and KJo seemed positive that his chat show may just bring the two warring Khans together again. And 'inshallah' if this happens; it will be the biggest year end gift from Bollywood.

Akshay Kumar overtakes Ajay Devgan in the last battle of 2010

Akshay Kumar's 'Tees Maar Khan' opened to strong numbers clearly overtaking Ajay Devgn's 'Toonpur Ka Superhero' at the box-office.

Though there is still one Friday to go in 2010 (the last day of the year – December 31), in terms of Bollywood the year seems to have come to an end. While three releases are scheduled for the next week – 2 postponed ('Tera Kya Hoga Johnny' and 'Ada – A Way of Life') and small children flick Bhoot and Friends, none of them are anywhere close to being awaited. Also the yearend is supposed to be dull phase in terms of box-office business.

So the releases of the week gone by were considered to be the last big releases of 2010. Akshay Kumar's Tees Maar Khan had an opening day collection of Rs 18 crore gross (Rs 14 crore nett) making it amongst the top three opening day collections for a Hindi film. The occupancy was as good as 100% at most cinemas in the opening weekend.

Released in over 2300 screens worldwide, the film has grossed more than Rs. 5 crores even before its Friday opening, just on paid previews in overseas market including US, UK and Gulf. However with negative reviews, it needs to be seen if the film can sustain a steady run at the box-office.

Ajay Devgn's Toonpur Ka Superhero, despite receiving better reviews than TMK, was nowhere close to the Akshay Kumar starrer in terms of its box-office business. The major target audiences were children. Though the animation is world-class, business was weak in the international market since they are more evolved in the genre. Again it needs to be seen if the business shows any rise in the coming days.

It was suicidal for Rajshri Productions Isi Life Mein to release amidst biggies like Tees Maar Khan and Toonpur Ka Superhero. As expected, the film went almost unnoticed.
