Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif in Yash Raj film 7 Days In Paris

Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif have finally signed for a film that will go on floors next month. After Sanjay Gadhvi’s  7 Days In Paris  ran into financial trouble and Emraan Hashmi replaced Imran Khan in Dibakar’s next, Yash Raj Films has signed Imran Khan and Katrina for their next. Though still untitled, the film will be directed by debutante Ali Abbas Zafar. Ali has written the script and the film will be the next one to go on floors under the YRF banner as early as next month.

Yes, YRF has got a fresh new face in Imran but the actor too has benefited from this deal. As reported earlier, Sanjay Gadhvi’s film ran into financial trouble and Emraan Hashmi replaced Imran Khan in Dibakar’s political thriller. Apparently, Imran and Dibakar intend to do a film eventually but that’s for later. In the meantime, the two debacles have seemingly brought luck to both Imran and Katrina.

Our source said, “This is the first time Imran will work in a YRF Film. The film was not scheduled to start earlier but since Katrina had bulk dates to give, considering Dostana 2 was postponed, Imran also agreed and the film is ready to take off immediately. Imran is known to be choosy but he loved the script and has signed the film. It’s a romantic film. Ali has assisted YRF in four films earlier: Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, New York, Tashan and the recently released Badmash Company .”

Imran Khan confirmed, “I am happy to be a part of the film and to be working with YRF. I love the way Adi functions. I also liked the way Ali has visualised his script.”

John Abraham to insure his body parts for Rs 10 crore

Insuring body parts might be a popular trend in Hollywood but Bollywood is yet to catch up with this latest development. Initiating the process in the world of glamour is the Bollywood hunk John Abraham who has flaunted his butt in yellow chaddi in ‘Dostana’. Guess what the dude is going to insure. It is his precious butt which he has displayed in ‘Dostana’. John has decided to insure his bum for a whopping amount of Rs 10 crore.

Since the trend is not in vogue in India, Indian companies are not used to body part insurance. Says a source, "But some insurance companies are willing to make an exception for John."

Adds the source, "Rs 10 crore is a heavy amount of insurance and the premium that he would have to pay for it would be mindboggling. And the star is up for it."

Confirms John, "I agree that there is an initiative from my side but this is a work-in-progress. I am meeting various people for this. At this point, I would not like to say more."

The actor has suffered minor muscle injury and has stopped gymming for a while. Speaking about films, John is eagerly looking forward to Nagesh Kukunoor ‘Aashayein’ which is slated for Aug 27 release.

Chelsea Clinton's wedding

Clinton's wedding to longtime boyfriend Mark Mezvinsky has been a Hot Topic on The View for weeks and even came up during President Barack Obama's historic hour-long interView on Thursday.  Chelsea Clinton was a call-in guest on The View in 2008.

Wedding politics: Americans celebrated Chelsea Clinton, ignored Jenna Bush (photo comparisons)

Residents of the small town of Rhinebeck, New York where Chelsea Clinton's wedding was held kept their eyes peeled in the hopes of a Hollywood style red carpet full of celebrity guests.  Instead, they were greeted with a handful of vaguely familiar looking political stiffs and investor types including former Secretary of State Madeline Albright, investor Steve Bing and Richest Person in the World Warren Buffett.

The only Hollywood celebrity couple spotted in the bunch were actors Ted Danson and wife Mary Steenburgen. Unless reported invitees Steven Spielberg, Barbra Streisand and Oprah Winfrey got dropped behind wedding lines by helicopter (which is totally possible considering who we're talking about), the rest of the guest list appears shockingly dry.

Wedding dress designer to the stars Vera Wang was in attendance, and Chelsea Clinton reportedly wore a custom made gown by the fashion icon.  Wang also designed wedding dresses for Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey and Al Gore's daughter Karena Gore.
