Kim Cattrall strips off to save painting from auction

Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall has once again shed her clothes to keep a classic Renaissance painting in the UK.

Last year, the 53-year-old actress had bared all to recreate artist Titian's Diana and Actaeon in a bid to raise awareness of the British National Gallery's campaign to stop the artwork being sold off to a private foreign bidder.

And she successfully raised 50 million pounds needed to buy the piece.

She's stripping again to keep another Titian work in the country. She will pose naked for a new take on the painter's Diana and Callisto canvas.

"Kim is committed to do whatever she can to keep the second Titian on public view," the Daily Express quoted a rep for Cattrall as saying.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt donate over $6.8 million in charities

Hollywood star Brad Pitt and his partner Angelina Jolie donated over $6.8 million to various charities in 2008.

The couple's Jolie-Pitt Foundation earned over $13 million last year.

A tax return obtained for the organisation shows half that amount was donated to charities, including $2 million to non-profit Global Health, $1 million to both Human Rights Watch and Pitt's Make it Right Foundation - a fund created to help build homes in hurricane-ravaged New Orleans, Louisiana.

They also gave $500,000 to the Armed Services YMCA (The Young Men's Christian Association), $50,000 to public schools in Pitt's native Springfield, Missouri and approximately $1 million to projects in Cambodia.

Hugh Jackman to fight robots in Spielberg movie "Real Steel"

Hollywood star Hugh Jackman has signed up to fight robots in a new Steven Spielberg movie.

The 41-year-old is to star in Spielberg's new sci-fi Real Steel, which tells the story of a futuristic boxing industry where robots take

over from real fighters.

The big-budget blockbuster is the first project for the filmmaker's DreamWorks Studio since the legendary director cut ties with

Paramount Pictures and secured independent financial backing for his company.
