Lady Gaga is first 'billion-view' artist on Youtube

Lady Gaga has become the first pop artist to be viewed on YouTube more than a billion times.

Three of the singer's promos have become favorites on the site - 'Poker Face' has received 374,606,128 hits, her debut 'Just Dance' stands at 272,941,674 and 'Bad Romance' has been watched 360,020,327 times.

It makes the 24-year-old singer the first featured artist on the website to total more than a billion views, reported Contactmusic.

But she may not hold the record for long - clips from the 'Twilight' film franchise have been watched 980 million times, while Soulja Boy's hits have clocked up 860 million views, according to video analytics company Visible Measures.

Taylor Swift romancing Cory Monteith

Taylor Swift seems to have moved on from her break-up with 'Twilight' star Taylor Lautner and has found romance elsewhere.

The 'Love Story' hit maker was covered bowling with 'Glee' actor Cory Monteith in Los Angeles this week, reported Aceshowbiz.

The couple were seen hugging and talking closely as they enjoyed some muscular fun with Disney star Selena Gomez.

"Taylor and Cory definitely looked close - they spent most of the night chatting together and had a long hug before saying goodbye - but their separate exits seemed quite purposeful so people wouldn't think they were an item," a source said.

Amitabh Bachchan gets Lifetime Achievement Award

Amitabh Bachchan, who freshly bagged the Filmfare award for his act in the film Paa, has extra one more spike to his cap. He was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 4th Asian Awards ceremony recently.

The well-known actor is delighted. “It just got over ! The pride and passion and honor of a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 4th Asian Awards ceremony here at the presentation center in Hong Kong,” he wrote on his blog.

“To be honest, I had never likely it to be the way it was. The association, the etiquette, the control and the effectiveness all in place and all done with great self-confidence and opulence. There is nothing quite as satisfying as a system that works. And to come across a dictum on the city of my present habitat that proclaims ‘Hong Kong - the city that works !’, is no off the cuff floozy remark. Tonight it confirmed that it actually lives up to its reputation,” he continued.

Amitabh also thanked Hong Kong and the Asian Film Awards for the respect and honor bestowed on him. He wrote that he would appreciate and memorize it fondly.

Brittany Murphy, took Hundreds of Pills per Month prior to Death

A source has erudite Brittany Murphy usual at least 200 tablets every month from January 2008 through August 2009, and sometimes even reached a shocking 400 tablets per month. The source reports, Brittany Murphy used an alias — Lola Manilow Murphy  — at Eddie’s Pharmacy in Los Angeles for nearly two years before the pharmacy finally cut her off 4 months before her unfortunate death.

Pharmacy records show Murphy was getting regular scrips for hydroquinone (Vicodin), clonazepam and Klonopin (anti-anxiety), and Vicoprofen (a Vicodin/ibuprofen combo) — even repetition up on some prescriptions on certain months. An example would be, one month Murphy was prescribed 200 hydrocodone and 100 clonazepam; another month it was 300 Vicoprofen and 100 Klonopin.

All the prescriptions were prescribed by Dr. Richard Kroop. We’re told investigators paid a visit to Kroop on Friday afternoon. As first reported by the source, the owner of Eddie’s Pharmacy said he cut Brittany and her family off 4 months before her death because, “We thought there was going to be an accident there” according to the pharmacy.

Olivia Wilde will be next Bond girl

Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto was also confirmed for a role in the project as a Bond Girl.

Isla Fisher Married with Sacha Baron Cohen

Sacha Baron Cohen might be all fun and games career-wise, but he’s very staid about his feelings for Isla Fischer. Woman’s Day is reporting that the "Bruno" star married longtime fiancĂ©e Isla in Paris last Monday.

Sacha and Isla only invited close relatives to the traditional Jewish ceremony and then announced the news to friends via email Tuesday. A happy Isla could barely contain her thrill as she described the duo’s big day and dreamlike sunset nuptials.

“We did it— we’re married!” Women's Day says the "Confessions of a Shopaholic" star wrote in her note. “It was the absolute best day of my life and in so many beautiful moments I missed you all so much.”

There should be little surprise the two avoided a Hollywood wedding for something smaller across the pond. Practically since they began dating, Sacha, 38, and Isla, 34, have kept their relationship very private out of fear the press would become involved.

They became engaged in 2004 and have a daughter Olive, two years old.

Insisting that those left out shouldn’t take it personal, Isla reiterated in her email, “I thought of you as everything was happening, but Sacha and I wanted no fuss — just us!”

No one can be mad with an explanation like that, but what do you think about Sacha and Isla’s secret marriage? Is anyone else having trouble picturing the notorious funnyman delivering vows?
