The highest tax payer in Bollywood : Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan has become the number one tax payer in Bollywood for the second quarter of the financial year 2011, by paying 5 crore as income tax.

He replaced Akshay Kumar, who came a close second, having paid 4.5 crore. Akki was tops in the last quarter. They are followed by Aamir Khan, who shelled out 4 crore. The fourth spot is shared by Saif Ali Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, who paid 2.5 crore each. Katrina Kaif shelled out 1.3 crore versus 1 crore last quarter, while Kareena Kapoor paid 1 crore.

Sonakshi Sinha Rocks Salman Khan! Or is it the other way round?

Who would you vote as the USP of Dabangg? Shatrughan Sinha’s solemn daughter Sonakshi Sinha or is your vote going to go to good old and bold Salman Khan? Known to have given a rise to many an actresses careers, Salman Khan is the centre of all attention this time too. But then, we say, that Sonakshi has been better than all other counterparts in being an equal of Salman in Dabangg. Isn’t it?

Did you think Bhagyashree was as romantic in Maine Pyar Kia as Salman was? Or was Nagma as ferocious as Salman in Baaghi? Certainly not. It is Dabangg which sees Sonakshi being an equal mettle as Salman, as fearless and outspoken and warm, as he is.

Although Salman has rediscovered himself in the movie, what with a complete new moustache and slim fit shirt and trousers, it is the rustic belle in Sonakshi which rings a bell in the hearts of all.

This new comer, then, is more than a show piece in the movie. be it her glances or stares, or her typical rustic accent to portray the character, the movie would not have had been a major hit, based only on Salman’s shoulders

Salman Khan and Milan Lutharia make music video for Big Boss 4

In Bollywood, nothing succeeds like super success! Salman Khan  and Milan Lutharia, who are both riding a crest of success with their latest films have been roped in by the most popular television channel for a music video for Salman's Big Boss 4.

The song is a very peppy number written by the hotshot Rajat Arora who wrote Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai. And is being choreographed by Pony Verma. Says Milan, "The music of Salman's latest film and my movie caught on like wild fire. We realised that when you have good music at your disposal, great things can happen. The channel came up with the idea of this music video and Rajat wrote this song. Salman who is in top form has brought in his individual characteristics to the song... and I'm sure when the music video starts playing early next week, the audience is going to be in for a treat." He adds, "Salman is the most uncomplicated actor I have worked with. I'm looking forward to doing a film with him."

Imran Khan starts shooting for Aditya Chopra's next film with Katrina Kaif this weekend.

Of course there are those who say Kat may join him a little later in the schedule. Imran gets back to shooting for a film almost after three months. And the location of Imran's next shoot is interesting. Though this light-eyed superstar has travelled quite a bit, he hasn't been to Pataudi where he will begin shooting shortly. It's said that Kareena Kapoor, Imran's co-star in Karan Johar's Short Term Shaadi has told Imran that if he feels homesick, he can perhaps drop by at her beau Saif Ali Khan's ancestral home, where Sharmila Tagore and the Nawab of Pataudi live.

Aamir Khan meets Sir Anthony Hopkins in Toronto

Aamir Khan, who was in Toronto last week where his wife Kiran Rao's directorial debut Dhobi Ghat played at the international film festival, has another reason to be very happy.

He met the legendary Sir Anthony Hopkins who was also at the festival for his film You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger.

The Bollywood superstar is a big fan of the Hollywood actor who has starred in cult classics like The Silence of The Lambs, Legend of the Fall, The World's Fastest Indian and Hannibal.

Says a source, "Aamir and Sir Anthony chatted about films. They spent a lot of time together. The Hollywood giant even expressed a desire to see Dhobhi Ghat."

What did Aamir do when introduced to Sir Anthony? Says the source, "They shook hands." Reason we asked was that at the Golden Globes in 2009, the same Sir Anthony was bowled over when our Anil Kapoor (there to receive acclaim for Slumdog Millionnaire) bent down to touch his feet on stage. It is, well, a 'touching' Indian custom meant to show respect to seniors, but not something the Hollywood legend was familiar with. Sir Anthony, startled by Anil's gesture, leaped a foot back!

Victoria Beckham makes a sharp exit from New York Fashion Week

She may be heading towards 40, but Victoria Beckham clearly still thinks she is youthful enough to get away with hot pants.
The fashion designer had a certain spring in her step as she left New York Fashion Week, wearing  a pair of impossibly short denims, teamed with a striped top.
The 36-year-old mother of three finished off her look with a scarf and a pair of vertiginous, bondage peep-toe heels.
She was pictured leaving her New York hotel earlier today with a small suitcase in hand - as the rest of her luggage mountain was loaded up into her waiting car.
The former Spice Girl is delighted after her handbag collection made a full page spread in American Vogue.
Editor in chief Anna Wintour - who has previously shunned Victoria - finally made the move after the fashionista courted her attention.
Victoria revealed her delight at the full-page editorial today on social networking site Twitter: 'So exciting,Oct American Vogue writes about my new handbag collection!
'On newstands now!! Thank u'.
Her denim shorts looks of today, however, comes in marked contrast to her leather look, which became something of a theme over recent days.
Earlier in the week she looked every inch the fashionista as she teamed her biker girl chic outfit with long silver earrings and a studded belt for a dinner at Nobu.
The next day she left her New York hotel wearing a pair of leather-look jeans and masculine blazer from her own collection.
She also carried her 'Victoria' bag from her new range - that so impressed Wintour - studded black heels and a pair of huge sunglasses.
Victoria, who is now believed to be on her way to the airport, was in New York to launch her fifth collection at fashion week, and has been working hard to promote the new range.
Despite making the cover of several international Vogue magazines, Victoria has always been desperate to impress the US counterpart.
'Victoria’s been on the cover of Turkish Vogue. It’s her fifth cover for international editions, but there’s still no offer from US Vogue,' a source told Now magazine.
'She’s dreamed of being on that cover since she was little.
'Right now she’s on an all-out charm offensive and has been sending Anna flowers and notes for the past few weeks to get noticed.'
Looks like the hard work paid off.
Victoria was spotted leaving her hotel in Manhattan for an interview on U.S. TV show The View to talk about the collection, and tweeted: 'Taping a fashion segment for The View to air Friday. I love the ladies of The View!!!! Hope you watch. X VB x'
She then added: 'On the way to The View. Wearing #vbeckham denim and jacket, first outing for Victoria bag!!!!'
The Victoria bag is one of the accessories in the Spring/Summer 2011 collection, and one which the mother-of-three is particularly proud.
Victoria apparently has high hopes for her bag range, which was designed with the consultation of accessories designer Katie Hillier, and was said to have been overheard telling a friend that: 'A Beckham could replace your Birkin', referring to the Hermes Birkin bag of which Victoria is so fond.

Miley Cyrus' romance with Liam Hemsworth

Absence makes the heart go fonder - just ask Miley Cyrus.

The 17-year-old was caught in a very passionate clinch with her on-again boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, 20, in Los Angeles today.

The Disney star was dropping the Australian actor off after an outing together, with the couple's farewell kissing session lingering for more than ten minutes.

Hemsworth's spokesperson revealed the pair, who first met on the set of teen drama The Last Song in 2009, had split last month

But it's clear their separation is most certainly over.

The first sign they had rekindled their romance came over the weekend when they were spotted running errands together.

An eyewitness told People: 'Miley and Liam kept smiling and seemed to really enjoy their afternoon together.

'They acted like they had missed each other, kept chatting and seemed to be catching up. They definitely seemed like a couple again.

'Since Miley returned to LA from [a movie shoot in] Europe earlier in the week, she has acted a bit tired and worn out,' the source continued.

'With Liam back in her life on Saturday, she acted totally different and, instead, seemed very happy.

'It looked like Miley and Liam had never been apart, and they were back into their old routine.'

Earlier in the day the Hannah Montana star got a telling off from a policeman after being pulled over for talking on her mobile phone whilst driving - a driving offense in California.

The 17-year old actress was spotted by the cop holding the phone to her ear as she drove her Mercedes SUV home after stopping by a massage parlor in West Hollywood yesterday.

The police man took the stars driving license and registration documents but it is unknown if she was given a ticket or let off with just a warning.

In California, getting caught chatting on the phone whilst driving is punishable with up to a $70 fine.

Luckily for Miley, Liam was nearby and came to offer his support after the incident.

Miley has been filming LOL: Laugh Out Loud alongside Ashley Greene and Demi Moore in recent months.

She plays the lead role of Lola in the coming-of-age film about a school girl and her friends making their way in a world connected by YouTube iTunes, and Facebook.

During filming Miley was spotted getting cosy  on and off-screen with her handsome male co-star, Douglas Booth.

Heidi Montag has a bikini malfunction in Costa Rica

With her new supersonic breast implants, keeping a tiny strapless bikini in place was always going to be a tough task.
And it's something Heidi Montag found out to her cost when one of her pneumatic breasts nearly escaped from her top as she splashed around in the Costa Rican surf.
The 25-year-old star looked vaguely horrified at her bikini malfunction as she frantically tried to keep things covered up.
Luckily, she recovered enough to walk down the beach displaying her surgically enhanced figure in  blue bikini top and red patterned bottoms with no further mishaps.
The slip up may have given Montag more reason to regret having made her breasts so big - she recently confessed she is already thinking of having her G cups reduced.

'I’m desperate to go back to normal,' she confided to U.S. magazine Life & Style. 'I’m downgrading and going a little smaller, to a D or a double D.
'I'm obsessed with fitness but it’s impossible to work out with these boobs. It’s heartbreaking. I can’t live an everyday life.'

The former Hills star was also wearing her nose plaster to keep things in place following her infamous ten plastic surgeries in one day last November.
Montag underwent a mini brow lift, Botox in her brow and frown line area; a nose job; fat injections in her cheeks, nasolabial folds and lips; chin reduction; neck liposuction; had her ears pinned back; a breast augmentation revision; liposuction on her waist, hips and inner and outer thighs; and a buttock augmentation.
The star had headed to Costa Rica to be in supposed seclusion after announcing she was officially divorcing her husband Spencer Pratt who she married last year.
However, the star has clearly not escaped the paparazzi, being photographed with her estranged husband swapping their dogs in a bizarre custody deal, as well as sipping cocktails and posing in the surf.
