“Who’s Imran?” - Katrina Kaif

Well, we thought they would have a filmi connect at least. But recently during an interview, Katrina Kaif left us a wee bit baffled. When quizzed on a comment that hottie Imran Khan had made about she being a lucky charm. Batting her eyelids with surprise, she asked, “Who Imran?” Oops. Too many Imrans in Bollywood, eh? So we quickly added the ‘Khan’ to the name. Thankfully, that cleared the confusion for the lovely Katz. 

“Oh, Imran! How can I be his lucky charm? I have never worked with him”. Katrina and Imran Khan were supposed to come together for Sanjay Gadhvi’s film ‘Seven Days in Paris’ but the project never took off. However the duo will be paired for the first time in a Yash Raj Production. “We will be doing a film together for Yashraj that we will start shooting soon. We have been offered a few films together, but this one was the best.” 

Now we wonder if Katrina’s caustic reply inquiring Imran’s identity has disappointed Imran Khan. He considered her as his lucky mascot. She had to consider again and confirm which Imran.

Liam Hemsworth Wants His Miley Back

The Australian actor Liam Hemsworth wants to have former girlfriend Miley Cyrus in his life again. The young couple had met when they co starred in the movie 'The Last Song'. They broke up over a week ago and now reports say that Liam is hoping for reconciliation.

The Australian heartthrob wants the teenage singer back in his life ."Although the relationship is over now, it doesn’t mean it is over forever," said the reports.

It was said that Liam was into the relationship and much more dedicated than Miley Cyrus. A stated ,”There might be a chance of rekindling their romance in the future. They both are of the mind-set that if it’s meant to be, it will be.”

Lindsay Lohan on the wrong side of law

Lindsay Lohan’s string of ill-fated incidents has just begun. After barely being released for just a few days from her rehab she is soon in trouble as she was recently caught by the cops in Los Angeles  for driving over  a stop sign.Linday was in the car with her friend Eilat Anschel at 11 pm last Friday when the incident occurred. Being a party animal Lindsay was on her way to Chateau Marmont, nightclub.

According to reports by TMZ, the cops were on a close vigil when the incident occurred right in front of their eyes. Lohan was stopped by the cops but luckily she was left with a warning. Lindsay has already had a brush of law early in life and she should be careful of such incidents in the future. Lindsay will start shooting for “Inferno” in the month of November in Louisiana so any kind of untoward incident will ruin her career. Lindsay looked very disturbed when the cops pulled her up. Lohan is presently undergoing a series of treatment on drug treatment and psycho counseling after she was released from rehab. She has also been ordered by the court to provide the details of drug and alcohol testing twice  a week ,attend behavioral counseling courses weekly and will also have to provide seven contacts a week with  a counselor for chemical dependency .

Her rehab bills were reported to be $130,000 plus she need to pay an additional amount for all her medical bills. So she should concentrate on getting her life back on the tracks

Sofia Vergara runs nude down Sunset Blvd after winning Emmys

Colombian actress Sofia Vergara has revealed that she has fulfilled her pledge to run nude in Hollywood  should sitcom ‘Modern Family’ win an Emmy. The team behind the hit ABC comedy had through an ad stated in July that Vergara, 38, would “run naked down Sunset Blvd.” if the show won the outstanding comedy award at the Emmys on August 29.

They also added in a disclaimer that the “cast member may change without notice”, but the actress says that she is not one to back down and has already done the run. “Listen, I’m not afraid of anything. I’m Colombian,” People magazine  quoted her as telling Access Hollywood. “Yes, I mean, I’m fast. I run fast. They zipped me and they sent me to do press,” she said.

Vergara’s co-star Julie Bowen has backed her story. “When we went back to the press room, she had made a left turn and we all made a right turn. So for about 20 minutes, she was missing,” she said. When she returned, Bowen asked her where she had been, and Vergara replied that she went to run nude down Sunset Boulevard. “No one was there. So I did it. It’s over … No one said I had to do it at a certain time,” Bowen said Vergara told her.

I want to work with Aamir again: Kareena Kapoor

After cooking up a crackling chemistry with Aamir Khan in the blockbuster 3 Idiots, actress Kareena Kapoor says she wants to team up with him once again. "I want to work with Aamir, but he is not doing any film for a year," Kareena lamented. She is very keen that her actor boyfriend Saif Ali Khan should work with 3 Idiots director Rajkumar Hirani.

"I always tell him (Saif) that he should work with Raju Hirani," she added.

Kareena will soon be seen in Karan Johar's We Are Family alongside Kajol and Arjun Rampal. The film releases on Friday.

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan skip Raavan screening at Venice fest

Bollywood couple Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan won't be able to attend the screening of their film Raavan at the upcoming 67th Venice Film Festival, due to prior commitments with their brand endorsements. Raavanan and Raavan - the Tamil and the Hindi versions of the Mani Ratnam film - and Anurag Kashyap's That Girl In Yellow Boots will be screened at the festival, starting on Wednesday.

“Aishwarya and Abhishek are not going for the Venice Film Festival as reported in some media outlets. The festival falls Abhi-Ashon the same dates on which they have previously committed. Aishwarya is going for an event for Longines (as she is the brand ambassador), while Abhishek will be busy with a shoot for Omega in Italy,” said a source close to the actors.

"There are other film festivals too - Doha and Pusan - where Abhishek and Aishwarya are being invited, to showcase their film or even for individual honours. But the duo will decide which ones to attend according to their schedules," added the source.

Al Pacino wins Emmy for best actor

Hollywood veteran Al Pacino bagged the outstanding lead actor in a mini series or movie award at the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards. Directed by Barry Levinson, the miniseries is about the life and work of physician-assisted suicide advocate Jack Kevorkian, which is played by Pacino.  Mick Jackson won the outstanding directing for a miniseries, movie or a dramatic special award for making the biopic Temple Grandin, about a woman with autism who revolutionised practices for the humane handling of livestock on cattle ranches and slaughter houses.

Dakota Fanning comfortable kissing Kristen Stewart

Hollywood actress Dakota Fanning has revealed she found kissing Kristen Stewart 'comfortable' in a new film. The 16-year-old actress locks lips with the Twilight Saga star in their new movie The Runaways in which they play rockers Cherie Currie and Joan Jett respectively, and despite it being her first female kiss, the teenager insists there was nothing awkward about the scene, reports contactmusic.com.

"Was it awkward? When you feel comfortable around someone and you have no defences up, that's when you're going to be the best. I feel very comfortable with Kristen," she said.

Emmy Awards 2010: Jim Parsons finally gets an Emmy

The Big Bang Theory” star Jim Parsons ended Alec Baldwin’s Emmy streak when he won the Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series award at the 2010 Emmy Awards tonight.

Parsons, who plays the role of socially inept theoretical physicist Dr. Sheldon Cooper on the show, admitted that he was surprised when his name was called. He told USA Today, “I am shocked. It was one of those moments right before they announced the winner that my brain went ‘You are not getting this right now’ and then I was stunned. I am still stunned.”

He talked about what he thinks of how much the viewers like his character Sheldon. “I am guessing it is because he is a very different guy. He is in the minority of intelligence and behavior. He comes from such an honest good place that he gets away with saying such outlandish things.”

The fourth season of “The Big Bang Theory” will premiere on September 23, 2010 on CBS.
