Elizabeth Hurley steps out in sexy leopard print with her dapper best friend

She may be 45, but Elizabeth Hurley proved she's definitely still got it today.

This afternoon she left a trail of gobsmacked admirers in her wake when she stepped out of her London hotel , and she was only wearing jeans.

If only her leering fans had seen the model and businesswoman tonight, when she left for a party in a very sexy satin leopard-print dress.

And far from sitting at home crying over her  rumoured to be now defunct relationship with Shane Warne, Liz shrugged off last month's romance drama and stepped out with her dependable best friend Patrick Cox.

The Canadian designer, who now owns trendy Soho patisserie Cox Cookies and Cake, was a dapper stand-in date for Liz, in his tailored charcoal suit.

Miss Hurley, in the capital for a 40th birthday dinner for the KIDS charity at Battersea Power Station, teamed her provocative dress with some nude peep-toe heels and a gold clutch.

She was sporting and admirable golden glow, just over a week into spring, and flawless hair and make-up.

Earlier today, Liz strutted down the sidewalk in an all-black ensemble, attracting double-takes and admiring glances from a trail of men behind her.

One fan was especially enthusiastic as he trailed after Elizabeth, making some not-so-subtle gesture with his hands, indicating that perhaps he would like to give her derrière a bit of a squeeze.

The model was a little sour-faced, perhaps irritated by the unwarranted attention, as she arrived at the Blake hotel in black jeans, heels and a black fur jacket.

Or perhaps she is suffering from sugar cravings. The keen tweeter discussed what she would be giving up for Lent this week on the site with her followers, and decided on chocolate.

Miss Hurley has primarily remained close to home since arriving back in the UK from her ill-fated trip to Australia last month.

While she has not confirmed an official split from cricketer Shane Warne, their silence speaks louder than words.

Fans became used to the pair exchanging flirtatious messages on Twitter, but since she arrived back in the UK, all contact (public, anyway) appears to have ceased.

Her tweets also appear to show a somewhat downcast mood of late.

'Hoping the winter of discontent is finally over....' she wrote last week.

'Now in bath with book, whisky and-even by my standards-deeply depressing country music.'

During her romantic rendezvous Down Under a porn star sold a kiss and tell to a tabloid, calling Hurley a 'mug' and claiming she had bedded cricketer Warner while he was involved with Liz.

Hurley was stony-faced when she arrived back at Heathrow after jetting out of Melbourne a week early, and onlookers at the airport say there was no affection or smiles from Warne and Hurley when he dropped her off the day before.
