Sonam Kapoor emulates Blair Waldorf in 'Aisha'

Sonam Kapoor has impressed the audience in ‘I Hate Luv Storys’, will imitate the look of a Hollywood actress, in her next movie.

Known for setting her own style records, the actress will emulate actress Blair Waldorf’s ‘Gossip Girl’ look for Rajshree Ojha’s ‘Aisha’, in which she is paired opposite Abhay Deol.

The costumes and handbags used by Sonam will resemble that of Blair Waldorf and Aisha is inspired by Jane Austen’s Emma.

Playing the lead role in the movie, Sonam kapoor is currently busy promoting the soon-to-be-released movie with younger sister, Rhea Kapoor, who has produced the film.

Sonam consults Rhea in everything
The independent and talented Sonam takes approval of her younger sibling in all professional and personal matters.

According to the sources, Sonam consults Rhea about her script, vacation plans, wardrobe and everything. Sonam and Rhea might have any opinion differences or arguments but they love each other a lot.

Aisha not a women-centric film, Ojha
“The protagonist may be a woman, but it's not a women-centric film. It's an ensemble piece and a romantic comedy," director Rajshree Ojha informs.

“Enough of Hollywood films have been copied to make Bollywood hits. I want to take a Bollywood film and make a film in Hollywood,” she says.

Rajshree Ojha debuts as a commercial Bollywood director with Sonam Kapoor-Abhay Deol starrer ‘Aisha’.

Ojha's first English direction ‘ Chaurahen’ that starred Soha Ali Khan, was not released in theaters but was nominated in several film fests.

Talking about her latest movie, the young director says "I wanted to make a film on urban relationships. I never thought to make a comedy. When I was reading Emma I found that it was so relevant to our society and I decided make a film on it.”

‘Aisha’ is scheduled for release on August 6.
