Hollywood actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are well known for their gentle work and Angelina being a UN ambassador. But the couple have taken this one step ahead and donated a million dollars for relief work in the earthquake destroyed country of Haiti.
When Wyclef came to know about the earthquake, he started a campaign called Yele Haiti to raise funds for relief work. He rushed to Haiti to help the victims in whatever way he can.
Brad and Angelina said: “We will work closely with our good friend Wyclef Jean to support the humanitarian efforts on the island and help those who have been injured and left without homes and shelter.”
Other celerities such as Usher and George Clooney are also know to be doing a lot in rasing awareness and funds for the aid and relief work in Haiti.
