Kate Moss is turned away from Pulp's surprise Glastonbury set

She might be one of the most famous faces in the world but even Kate Moss can sometimes go unrecognised.

Because while she might have had VIP passes for this year's Glastonbury festival, that just wasn't going to cut it with security.

Looking a little dishevelled, the supermodel was seen arguing with bouncers who refused to let her in backstage to watch Pulp play last night.

Kate, 37, was snapped looking upset as she tried to get into the backstage area by the Park stage.

But she got no further than a burly bouncer who appeared to be refusing to let her pass.

Surrounded by her friends, it looked like she tried to reason with the security man but whether she was successfully allowed in is unclear.

Kate arrived at Glastonbury yesterday with a group of friends to watch fiancé Jamie Hince play with his band The Kills.

She was seen cheering him on by the side of the stage, flashing her rock hands to her betrothed.

Earlier she was snapped arriving arm-in-arm with friend Hamish Bowles, the European editor-at-large for Vogue, at the festival looking every inch the rock chick in blue snakeskin print skinny trousers, a green T-shirt black leather jacket and Hunter wellington boots.

And she happily sloshed about in the ankle-high mud as she walked around with her friends.

She later met up with Jamie, who she is marrying next weekend, and shared a laugh as he navigated his way through the mud and almost got his boot stuck.

Pulp were one of the 'surprise' acts of the weekend and performed just two weeks after wowing the Isle of Wight festival.

Tens of thousands of people flocked to the Park Stage despite the set only being announced that morning.

It was Pulp's fourth Glastonbury appearance but their first for nine years and as they came on stage, frontman Jarvis Cocker told the crowd: 'We couldn't think of anything to get you so we brought the sunshine.'

After their set, which included some of their biggest hits including Disco 2000 and Common People, he added: 'Thanks Glastonbury, obviously it's been a very important place for us. When we played in '95 things took off for us and we went in a strange orbit around the earth, and now we're back home in one piece.'

Jade Ewen flashes an impressive pair of pins as she performs at charity festival

They've not played a live gig for quite a while now so no doubt their fans were delighted to see them up on stage again.

However, we suspect all eyes were on singer Jade Ewen and her incredibly long legs.

The pop star showed off an enviable pair of pins as she took to the stage with band mates Amelle Berrabah and Heidi Range yesterday.

Jade, 23, strutted her stuff in a short grey leather dress which she teamed with a towering pair of black stilettos which made her legs look even longer.

In comparison, Amelle and Heidi opted for something a little more demure.

Amelle, 27, wore a knee-length ruched black skirt and sheer grey vest top, while Heidi, 28, decided on an outfit of wide-legged blue trousers and a furry black vest top.

The girls were part of the line-up at the Music on The Hill festival in West Malling in Kent.

The concert was held to raise money for the Dermelza Hospice Care for Children and The Children's Development Trust, and also saw performances by Katherine Jenkins, McFly, Stacey Solomon and ABC.

Sugababes last played together in May when they travelled to Morocco to play at the annual Mawazine Festival in Rabat.

But they haven't played in front of a huge crowd since the V Festival last August, but if they were nervous they certainly didn't seem to show it.

In fact, they looked excited to be back performing again as they performed some of their hits.

Fans are eagerly awaiting some new material from the trio since their last album Sweet 7, which was originally set for a late November 2009 release, didn't hit the shops until March 2010.

They are believed to be working on their eighth studio album after initially announcing they had started work on it in April last year.

Earlier this month, the girl band signed with a three-album deal with Sony after making the decision to leave former label Island Records and their new single Freedom is due out in the next few months.

Delta Goodrem and Nick Jonas are reunited with a kiss at the airport

She was snapped arriving at Los Angeles International Airport with a huge smile on her face.

And now we know why, because shortly afterwards Delta Goodrem was reunited with her new beau Nick Jonas outside the terminal building.

The 26-year-old Australian singer greeted her new pop star boyfriend with a hug and a kiss as she met him in the car park outside.

Looking relaxed and happy, she beamed at photographers as she arrived in LA wearing light blue jeans and a coral coloured top.

She then headed to her car to drop off her handbag before making her way back to the airport to pick up the 18-year-old musician.

The couple, who have been seeing each other for the past few weeks, looked very happy to see each other as they embrace in front of other travellers.

They then climbed into Delta's car and whisked off to an unknown destination.

They have been keeping quiet about their new relationship, but they appear to be going from strength to strength as these pictures show.

Delta announced her split from former Westlife singer Brian McFadden on April 1.

But at the end of May, she and Nick were spotted hand-in-hand going for a bite to eat having just returned from a tropical holiday in Bali.

Her teenage beau has his own band Nick Jonas and the Administration, and they appeared on chat show The View at the beginning of June but he refused to talk about his new relationship.

The pair have been spending considerable amount of time together in recent months working on the former Neighbours' star's latest album.

On March 5, three weeks before she announced her split from long-time love Brian, the singer tweeted a picture of the pair with their arms around each other in the studio with Jonas Brothers bass guitarist Greg Garbowsky.

Delta and Brian struck up a romance after recording their duet Almost Here in 2004.

They issued a joint statement announcing their split in April.

They said: ‘This decision has been made with a lot of soul searching from both parties with the realisation that they have grown apart.'

McFadden later took to his Twitter page, writing: ‘I love Delta and always will. She is one of God's living angels. I thank her for giving me the best years of my life. Please give us time x.’

Baywatch star Nicole Eggert looked ready to hatch as she celebrated her baby shower at her Los Angeles home

Nicole Eggert is best known for donning a red swimsuit in Nineties show Baywatch.

But the 39-year-old looked ready to pop yesterday as she celebrated her pregnancy with a festive baby shower at her Los Angeles home.

She was joined by 30 friends as she enjoyed the outdoor party in the California sunshine.

She wore denim shorts and a empire style lavender top with spaghetti straps.

Nicole was the perfect hostess making sure she spoke to all of her guests who were their to celebrate her impending arrival.

She is expecting her second child, a baby girl, next month.

The actress recently appeared on Celebrity Fit Club where she spoke about her struggle with her weight.

But her extra pounds are now for a great reason as she looked like her due date was imminent.

Nicole famously showed off her body alongside Pamela Anderson during beach scenes on Baywatch.

But since the end of the show she has struggled to recreate the same success.

The actress seems to have found happiness again after enduring a tumultuous relationship with ex-boyfriend Leor Diman.

She filed papers in 2007 accusing him of berating her and burning her with cigarettes.

Nicole is also mother to 12-year-old daughter Dilyn.

John Battsek and Jemima Khan at the Ark ball

When she splashed out £15million on an Oxfordshire pile three months ago, it seemed certain that Jemima Khan was planning to settle down with her long-term love, literary agent Luke Janklow.

However, the millionairess writer and campaigner has in fact split from the equally wealthy Mr Janklow and is now dating Oscar-winning filmmaker John Battsek, 47.

Miss Khan, 37, made her public debut with Mr Battsek at the glossy Ark ball, attended by Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge.

A source close to New York-based Mr Janklow, 42, said that Miss Khan’s fear of flying had put a toll on their relationship.

Ten years ago Miss Khan was on board a flight to Kenya that was knocked off course, diving thousands of feet, after a passenger tried to seize control.

At the time, her mother, Lady Annabel Goldsmith said: 'Jemima was frightened of flying even before the incident, she’s petrified now.'

Yesterday, it was reported that Jemima had taken a fear-of-flying class at Gatwick Airport after being forced to take anti-anxiety drug Xanax every time she flew.

A friend said: ‘Luke was having to fly over to London all the time to see Jemima. They got on well, but it made life very difficult for both of them. Jemima just could not cope with flying to New York.’

Miss Khan, who has two sons, Sulaiman, 14, and Kasim, 12, with her ex-husband, former Pakistan cricket star Imran Khan, was in a three-year romance with actor Hugh Grant.

She had been seeing Mr Janklow — dubbed the ‘hottest straight man in publishing’  — since 2009. In January, they were seen looking in jewellers on London’s Bond Street, prompting rumours of an engagement.

However, she is now believed to be ‘extremely happy’ with Mr Battsek, who won an Oscar for his documentary One Day In September, about the tragic events at the 1972 Olympics.

The pair are said to have met through Jemima’s brother, financier Ben Goldsmith, as Mr Battsek co-produced his film, Fire In Babylon, the tale of the West Indies cricket team of 1974-84.

Battsek was most recently linked to actress Lisa Edelstein, who stars in House with Hugh Laurie.

A friend of Jemima’s confirms she and Battsek are dating.
