And now with the season premiere approaching at the end of this month, it's been confirmed that the tattoo artist, 29 , will mine her new relationship for entertainment value.

'[It's] a long distance relationship, but we're just making it work,' Hollywood-based Von D says in an upcoming episode.
She also dismisses rumours on the show that she was pregnant and that she intends to move to Texas.
And she has a message for cynics, who doubt the joy of dating a confirmed love rat by insisting in show preview: 'I feel like I'm the luckiest girl. I don't care what anyone thinks.'
James moved from Southern California to Austin, Texas in the wake of the divorce in the hope of keeping his children, who were close to Sandra Louis, in touch with their family.
And other two months ago, It appeared that the distance had driven a wedge between James and Von D, with both venting their feelings on Twitter amid claims they had called off the wedding.
But James told People.com they are now planning to marry in the summer to mark the year anniversary of their relationship.
'That is absolutely not true,' the 42-year-old said in response to reports he had broken up with Kat.
'We're still going strong. Things are completely good with us.'
'Everything is on track. I am absolutely more in love today than I was a year ago. She's the one for me'
Von D also weighed in, saying off the split claims: 'That's the furthest thing from the truth.'
It is now five months since The Monster Garage star and tattoo artist fiancée Kat announced their engagement.
The couple began dating in August 2010, just two months after his divorce from Sandra Bullock was finalised.
Bullock and James married in 2005 but split abruptly five years later after news emerged that he had cheated on the Oscar winner with several women, most notably tattoo model and Nazi sympathiser, Michelle 'Bombshell' McGee.
Heavily tattooed Von D seemed much more James' type than the glamorous Blind Side star and the pair announced they were engaged last January.
The new series of L.A. Ink premieres on July 28 at 10 pm ET.
