Cat Deeley turned heads in a gorgeous red maxi dress when she popped out for groceries in Beverly Hills

Cat Deeley cut a beautifully crimson shape when she popped out to stock up on groceries yesterday.

The British TV presenter turned a string of heads in her stunning red maxi-dress, which she teamed perfectly with a pair of tan coloured, heeled sandals and a cute gold pendent.

With her trademark long golden locks tumbling around her face, Cat, 34, could not avoid drawing in stares from fellow shoppers as she made her way out of the popular grocery store, Bristol Farms, in Beverly Hills.

The chain of Bristol Farms stores are a firm favourite with the Hollywood elite, so Cat will no doubt have made the most of their selection of deluxe sushi, fine wines and cheeses.

The full length, cotton dress was the perfect wardrobe choice for the balmy Los Angeles climate yesterday, and it would seem Cat and her friends had the perfect afternoon and evening planned.

Armed with bags packed with of delicious gourmet treats, the Birmingham-born Brit and her friends were headed home to bask by the pool, before a fun-packed night out watching U2 play live at the Anaheim Angels stadium in LA.

Unable to contain her excitement yesterday, she tweeted: 'Poolside... Then U2!!!!! Life is good!'

The TV presenter has been working very hard recently filming the new series of the hit show, So You Think You Can Dance, so it was high time she took time out for herself.

Cat clearly knows what colours work for her too, as she opted for a sparkly cocktail dress in an identical shade of red for the show last weekend.

Posing for photos with the show's judging panel, which included Louise Redknapp, Cat looked simply sensational in yet another stunning red number.
